Inspiration behind the interior design of The Farmhouse was derived from various sources.
Paying homage to the original local Italian migrants by emulating elements of the architecture from the classic Italian farmhouse ("Messeria"), has been the most prominent point of reference.
Extensive travels to the United States, in particular visits to The Great Lakes NY region to wonderful places such as The Point and Lake Placid Lodge, at Lake Placid, inspired traditional USA design aspects such as braided rugs, solid wood furniture, and textured plaid textiles.
Finally, a respectful nod to our local equine history has been carefully curated into the design from toile wallpapers featuring riding scenes to Hermes equestrian items strewn decoratively throughout The Farmhouse.
Marrying the three design inspirations, all have meshed eclectically beautifully together to create the bespoke and unique interiors of The Farmhouse.
It's a sophisticated yet warm embracing interior, with a beautiful farmhouse functionality.
